The IFC's Ownership and management

IFC has 182 member countries, which collectively determine its policies and approve investments. IFC's share capital, which is paid in, is provided by its member countries, and voting is in proportion to the number of shares held. Indonesia Stock Exchange (Indonesian: Bursa Efek Indonesia) is a stock exchange based in Jakarta, Indonesia. It was previously known as Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) before its name changed in 2007 after merging with Surabaya Stock Exchange (SSX). As of 28 June 2010, the Indonesia Stock Exchange had 341 listed companies with a combined market capitalization of $269.9 billion. On May 23, 2011 the Indonesia Stock Exchange increasing the number of issuers at the exchange to 425. In November 2011, Indonesian Stock Exchange market capitalization was $400 billion or 50.48 percent of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), while U.S. ratio was 100 percent and Singapore with 170.82 percent.

On April 20, 2011 the Jakarta Composite Index hits new record and closed at 3,794.76. Trading volume was about Rp.5.9 trillion ($0.68 billion) and the overall market capitalization up to Rp.3,384 trillion ($389 billion). In July 8, 2011 IDX Composite Index broke the psychological barrier of 4,000 and closed at the record of 4,003.69.
 
Currently opens from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time, but since March 2011 has made rehearsal opens since 9:00 a.m. at the weekends when the bourse closed and will be fully implemented in the second half of 2011. The plan to open trading at either 9 a.m. or 8:30 a.m. with closing time will remain unchanged is to accommodate trading hours which fund managers setting strategies based on Singapore and Hong Kong stock exchange.

PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) is a Securities Depository and Settlement Institution (LPP) in Indonesia Capital Market that was established in Jakarta on December 23, 1997 and obtained its operational license on November 11, 1998.  In Indonesia Capital Market structure, KSEI is one of the Self-Regulatory Organizations (SROs), in addition to the Stock Exchange and Clearing & Guarantee Institution.  KSEI, pursuant to the provisions under Law Number 8 Year 1995 regarding Capital Market, takes its role as LPP in Indonesia Capital Market by providing orderly, fair and efficient Securities Central Depository and Transaction settlement services.

KSEI started its operational activities, which is transaction settlement of Securities in script form, on January 9, 1998 by taking over the function of its kind from PT Kliring Deposit Efek Indonesia (KDEI), which once was the Clearing Depository and Settlement Institution (LKPP).  Thereafter, as of July 17, 2000, KSEI, together with PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (d/h PT Bursa Efek Jakarta) and PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (KPEI) made a breakthrough by implementing scripless trading and central depository activities in Indonesia capital market. KSEI shares are owned by its service users, namely: the SROs (PT Bursa Efek Indonesia and PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia), Custodian Bank, Securities Companies, and Registrars.

Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) or in Indonesian Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) is a stock exchange based in Jakarta, Indonesia. It was previously known as Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) before its name changed in 2007 after merging with Surabaya Stock Exchange (SSX). As of 28 June 2010, the Indonesia Stock Exchange had 341 listed companies with a combined market capitalization of $269.9 billion. On May 23, 2011 the Indonesia Stock Exchange increasing the number of issuers at the exchange to 425. In November 2011, Indonesian Stock Exchange market capitalization was $400 billion or 50.48 percent of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), while U.S. ratio was 100 percent and Singapore with 170.82 percent.

Originally opened in 1912 under the Dutch colonial government, it was re-opened in 1977 after several closures during World War I and World War II. After being reopened in 1977, the exchange was under the management of the newly created Capital Market Supervisory Agency (Badan Pengawas Pasar Modal, or Bapepam), which answered to the Ministry of Finance. Trading activity and market capitalization grew alongside the development of Indonesia's financial markets and private sector - highlighted by a major bull run in 1990. 

On July 13, 1992, the exchange was privatized under the ownership of Jakarta Exchange Inc. As a result, the functions of Bapepam changed to become the Capital Market Supervisory Agency. On March 22, 1995 JSX launched the Jakarta Automated Trading System (JATS). In September 2007, Jakarta Stock Exchange and Surabaya Stock Exchange merged and named Indonesian Stock Exchange by Indonesian Minister of Finance. The current location of the Indonesian Stock Exchange is located in the IDX building in the Sudirman Central Business District, South Jakarta, near the current site of the Pacific Place Jakarta.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for preparing and making legal opinion/ review to the user in the work environment associated with the Company's corporate aspects;
  • Agreement/ Addendum/ MOU with a third party in order to provide legal protection for the Company, among others, performed an analysis of legal aspects;
  • Preparing and making legal documents related to the implementation of the RUPS are tailored to the Articles of Association and regulations in force;
  • Prepare legal documents or coordinate with certain parties (company lawyers and Technical Division) for the settlement of disputes faced by the Company (which occurs from the agreement, a lawsuit from a third party or to any third party claims) both inside and outside the court can provide legal protection optimally to the Company;
  • Conducting a review of internal regulations (SK) of the Company to comply with Company policy and legislation in force; and
  • Prepare, prepare legal documents related to registration at the Directorate General of HKI Company's products and coordinate with the Technical Division and the Directorate General of HKI as well as monitoring the status of registration in the Directorate General of HKI.
Requirements:
